This website is operated by Urumi Athletics. Throughout the website, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Urumi Athletics.
By accessing this website, placing an order or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and all policies referenced on this website, including our Shipping Policy, Return Policy, Warranty Policy and Privacy Policy.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our website. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our website or services.
We reserve the right to update these Terms by posting a revised version on this website.
1 — Eligibility and use
You must be the age of majority in your province, state or country of residence, or have the authorization of a parent or legal guardian, to make a purchase through our website.
You may not use our website, products or services for any unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorized purpose or in violation of applicable law.
We reserve the right to refuse or restrict service where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, abuse, unauthorized resale, payment issues or violations of these Terms.
2 — Products
We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and display our products.
Product photographs, colours, specifications, dimensions and other information are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Minor differences may occur due to manufacturing tolerances, materials, photography, lighting and device displays.
Sporting equipment may naturally show signs of wear through normal use. Wear, cosmetic deterioration or damage resulting from use does not by itself indicate a manufacturing defect.
3 — Cricket bats
Urumi cricket bats are individually made from English or Kashmir willow.
Willow varies naturally between individual bats. Grain structure, colour, markings, density, weight, balance, appearance and playing characteristics may differ from one bat to another.
Product photographs and grading descriptions are representative and do not guarantee a particular grain count, grain appearance, colour, weight distribution, performance or lifespan unless expressly stated for the individual product.
Bat weights, dimensions and specifications are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise. Weight may fluctuate slightly due to moisture content, storage and environmental conditions.
Cricket bats are designed to strike cricket balls but remain susceptible to wear, cracking and impact damage during normal play.
Proper preparation, protection, maintenance, storage and use are the customer’s responsibility and must be carried out in accordance with our Bat Preparation & Care guidance.
4 — Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website and may change without notice.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges and other fees will be shown where applicable during checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorized before an order is processed.
We reserve the right to correct pricing, product descriptions, promotions, specifications or other errors at any time.
Where an obvious pricing, inventory or listing error affects an order, we may cancel the affected order before fulfilment and refund amounts paid for the cancelled item.
5 — Order acceptance
Submitting an order and receiving an automated order confirmation does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.
We reserve the right to accept, refuse, limit or cancel an order for legitimate business reasons, including suspected fraud, payment issues, inventory errors, pricing errors, product availability, suspected unauthorized resale or incorrect customer information.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount paid for the cancelled portion will be refunded.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing, shipping and contact information.
Requests to modify or cancel an order should be submitted as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes or cancellation once processing, customization, preparation or shipment has begun.
6 — Customization and customer-requested services
Customized, personalized or customer-requested work may begin shortly after an order is placed.
Once customization or preparation has begun, the affected product may not be cancelled, returned or exchanged for change of mind.
This includes personalized engraving and other modifications or preparation specifically requested by the customer.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all names, text, specifications and other personalization instructions submitted with an order are correct.
We are not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate information or instructions supplied or approved by the customer.
Minor positioning, appearance or finish variations resulting from customization do not constitute defects where the requested customization has otherwise been correctly completed.
7 — Shipping and delivery
Shipping terms are governed by our Shipping Policy.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and contact information.
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed by the applicable carrier or service.
Urumi Athletics is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, weather, transportation disruptions, incorrect customer information or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges and other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Customers are responsible for complying with applicable import requirements in their destination country.
8 — Returns and refunds
Returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Return Policy.
Products must satisfy the applicable return conditions to qualify for a return or exchange.
Products showing evidence of use, damage, alteration or other conditions excluded under our Return Policy may be refused.
9 — Warranty
Warranty claims are governed by our Warranty Policy.
Warranty coverage applies only to eligible defects and does not cover damage or deterioration excluded under that policy.
For cricket bats, this may include damage resulting from improper preparation, insufficient protection, misuse, impact damage, moisture, poor storage, unauthorized alterations or repairs, normal wear and tear, or continued use after damage has developed.
Customers may be required to provide photographs, proof of purchase and information regarding preparation, maintenance and use before a warranty claim can be assessed.
Warranty claims may require the product to be returned for physical inspection.
10 — Product care and responsibility
Customers are responsible for following applicable preparation, care, maintenance, storage and safety instructions supplied with a product or published on our website.
Cricket bats should be regularly inspected for cracking, splitting, separation, moisture damage or other deterioration.
If significant damage develops, use should stop until the bat has been assessed.
Continuing to use damaged sporting equipment may increase the extent of the damage and may affect warranty eligibility where the continued use contributed to further damage.
11 — Website information
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information on our website. However, typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions may occasionally occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors and update product information, specifications, availability and website content without prior notice.
Information provided on our website is for general product and service information and should be considered together with any instructions or policies applicable to the relevant product.
12 — Third-party services
We may use third-party providers for payment processing, website hosting, shipping, analytics and other services.
Certain third-party services may be subject to their own terms, policies and availability.
We are not responsible for independent third-party websites, services or content that we do not control.
13 — Intellectual property
All website content, including the Urumi Athletics name, logos, trademarks, product names, graphics, photographs, videos, designs, written content and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Urumi Athletics unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, commercially exploited or otherwise used without prior written authorization from Urumi Athletics, except where permitted by applicable law.
14 — Prohibited use
You may not use our website or services:
- for unlawful or fraudulent activity;
- to provide false or misleading information;
- to infringe intellectual property or other legal rights;

Sporting equipment is subject to wear, impact and deterioration through use. Except for warranties expressly provided by Urumi Athletics or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, we do not guarantee any specific lifespan, playing performance or continued condition of a product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, condition, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16 — Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Urumi Athletics and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from or relating to the use of our website, services or products.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Urumi Athletics’ total liability for any claim arising from or relating to a product, order or service will not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for the specific product, order or service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17 — Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Urumi Athletics and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and service providers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of our website or services, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another party’s rights.
18 — Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

We may suspend or terminate access to our website or services where these Terms are violated or where reasonably necessary to protect Urumi Athletics, our customers, our systems or other parties.
Rights and obligations that arose before termination will continue where applicable.
